Descrizione del prodotto

The serum with vitamin C is a restorative serum with a high concentration of pure and stable vitamin C in the oil phase. It works by maintaining a radiant complexion and skin tone while smoothing fine lines.

Our skin has been subjected to many challenges throughout life that affect its structure, function and appearance. Normal skin contains a high concentration of vitamin C however vitamin C levels in damaged and old skin decrease. Due to the low level of vitamin C in the epidermis, it is more susceptible to oxidative stress and the harmful effects of UV rays.

The combination of vitamin C derivatives, squalane, rosehip oil, vitamin E, bisabolol and conenzyme Q10 protects the skin from external factors, maintains an even and radiant complexion, has a positive effect on scars, dry and rough skin.

The serum is non-irritating and is therefore also suitable for sensitive skin.

Instructions for use

Mix 1-2 drops with your usual amount of moisturizer and apply to your face, neck and neckline. For a more intensive therapy, apply 2-3 drops 2x per day.

Active ingredients

Vitamin C derivative

Vitamin C is also known as ascorbic acid, in addition to many positive benefits for our body, it also has exceptional benefits for the appearance and health of our skin. It acts as a cofactor for proline and lysine hydroxylase which stabilize the molecular structure of collagen. It acts as a mechanical barrier that prevents malignant cells from penetrating deeper tissues. At the same time it protects the skin from the effects of free radicals. It helps fight premature aging and slows the appearance of the first visible signs of aging.

It is particularly effective in combination with vitamin E. It prevents melanogenesis (the formation of the pigment melanin in the skin), which is why it is used for hyperpigmentation and against age spots. The serum uses a derivative of vitamin C ( ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate) which has the same effects as ascorbic acid, however, studies indicate that it is more stable than ascorbic acid, non-irritating and therefore suitable for sensitive skin.

Squalane

Squalane is a derivative of squalene, the natural composition of human sebum. It is a thick oil-like liquid that is quickly absorbed into the skin and leaves a silky feel. Helps regenerate skin cells, restores the natural elasticity and flexibility of the skin.

It makes the skin soft and improves its structure, balancing the function of the lipid barrier and preventing skin dehydration. It's also great for caring for dry hair ends, as it maintains hydration and protects against breakage and damage.

It is also considered very effective in preventing the formation of age spots and visible wrinkles. It also helps heal chapped skin, absorbs quickly and does not leave an oily feel, helps the skin retain natural oil and is stable against oxidation.

Rosehip oil

Rosehip oil is one of the universal oils that contains more than 500 ingredients. It contains a high percentage of fatty acids such as linolenic, linoleic and oleic acids. They play a significant role in regulating cell membrane permeability and damage repair mechanisms.

Rosehip oil is rich in vitamin C (213-262 mg/100 g), phenolic acids (coumaric, vinyl and vanilla acids) and carotenoids. Thanks to its high levels of antioxidants and unsaturated fatty acids, it offers protection against inflammation and oxidative stress.

Studies indicate that it has a positive effect on dry skin, skin with eczema, dermatitis or scales. It improves scar healing and is extremely effective for burns as it reduces redness and promotes faster recovery.

Sunburned skin calms down faster with the use of rosehip oil, spots caused by hyperpigmentation disappear, and the visibility of wrinkles is significantly reduced. It is also effective in smoothing skin tone because it tightens pores.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is known in cosmetic products as tocopherol. It is a natural antioxidant that protects the skin from free radicals. In the body, it acts as a free radical hunter and thus protects the body's cell membranes from damage.

It is fat soluble, which allows it to penetrate deep into the skin and retain lipids in the skin, thus increasing moisture and protecting the outer layer of the skin. Vitamin E works by “closing” cracks in the skin and therefore prevents moisture from escaping from the skin, which keeps it hydrated and firm. Studies indicate that it also has an extremely positive effect against photoaging.

Bisabolol

Bisabolol is also known as alpha-bisabolol and levomenol. It is derived from the essential oil of German chamomile Matricaria chamomilla and Matricaria recutita . Chemically speaking, it belongs to the terpenes.

It is best known for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action. Stimulates wound healing, soothes the skin and does not irritate.

Bisabolol contributes to the regeneration of skin damaged by UV rays. It is often used as a penetrator because it is able to penetrate deeper into the skin and accelerate the penetration of other active substances. Like vitamin C, it effectively prevents the synthesis of melanin. Soothes irritability and redness of dry and sensitive skin. It is a very delicate ingredient that does not cause allergies.

Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 in our body is responsible for the conversion of food into cellular energy, acts as an antioxidant, stabilizes cell membranes and has a signaling role in cells. It consists of a quinone ring and a long chain of isoprene units. Due to its chemical structure, it is fat-soluble.

The body synthesizes it on its own, however, with age this ability decreases. By the way, at the age of 50 we have about 20-60% less coenzyme Q10 than in our 20s. This reduces the cells' ability to regenerate and protect themselves naturally. Over time, the skin begins to lose firmness, shine and flexibility and becomes more prone to wrinkles.

Q10 has a strong antioxidant effect which allows the neutralization of free radicals caused by external factors such as UV rays and environmental pollutants. Free radicals cause the breakdown of collagen and elastin, which are necessary to keep skin firm and elastic. A sufficient amount of coenzyme Q10 can stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin and thus slow down skin aging.
